Applicants should read the job description thoroughly before applying to ensure that they meet the job requirements. If the job requires driving a company vehicle, applicants must have a valid California Class "C" driver’s license at the time of appointment and required to maintain a driving record that is acceptable to the District’s insurance carrier. A DMV printout will be required upon a job offer, for jobs requiring driving. Employment is contingent on candidate passing a post-offer physical examination, including a drug screen. Verification of U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to be employed will be required.

Administrative Assistant

Under the direction of the District Manager, the Administrative Assistant performs advanced administrative and confidential secretarial duties in support of District operations. This position is responsible for overseeing office functions, maintaining fiscal and personnel records, and performing a wide range of accounting, payroll, human resources, and administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant applies bookkeeping principles, maintains accurate financial records, supports Board operations, and represents the District professionally to the public.
